exactly, Takara seems to be off it’s game right now.
does he have any diecast metal? or is he all plastic? i noticed that the newer master piece figures are plastic. they’re going cheep!
Grimlock should be taller than Convoy, Ultra Magnus and Megatron… But Takara Tomy forgot about this detail. Very nice figure, however too small, a point negative for the high price. I’ll pass.

it’s Masterpiece Ultra Magnus he’s just repaint of Masterpiece Optimus Prime because that’s what he looks like without the armor
Ultra Magnus is mostly blue with some red and white and turns into a car transporter, not just a cab over semi, this is the Optimus mold.
He didnt compare him to Optimus he compared him to Ultra Magnus
I always thought Grimlock’d be taller that Optimus, and I fantasized at having a giant robotic Dinosaur.
Man he is really awesome but so short at the same time. It’s just Starscream all over again.

my god i’ve just bought this from ebay and i didn’t realise he was so tiny, the ultra magnus is superior.

This things looks incredible! But it really should be the same size as a Prime, it costs more but is smaller. Still won’t stop me from getting one.
